Our Troop

“The patrol system is not one method in which Scouting for boys can be carried on. It is the only method.”
– Lord Baden-Powell, Scouting’s founder …

Chartered by the Sgt. John Sardiello Post 1634 of the American Legion, Boy Scout Troop 2014 exists to enhance the character and develop integrity in young men through the principles summarized in the Scout Oath and Law. While in pursuit of this goal, the Troop provides opportunities for Scouts to learn basic Scouting skills, practice the patrol method, and develop leadership skills. Boy Scout Troop 2014 is a proud organization of West Babylon located on the Great South Bay of Long Island, New York and was first formed in 2014.
